About

I am a multicultural and semi-nomadic Colombian director, based between Argentina, Mexico, and Canada.

My career in the audiovisual world spans multiple disciplines and formats, including advertising, fiction series, short films, music videos, documentaries, and branded content. I have been represented by and/or collaborated with companies such as Fábula (Chile), CastaDiva (Argentina-USA), Buda Productora (Argentina), Off Screen Romance (Canada),  Roommates, WhiskeyFilm (Latam), Proyectil, Dynamo (Colombia), and major networks and platforms like Disney, HBOMax, AmazonPrime, Fox , NatGeo, Discovery Channel, BTF Media, NippurMedia.

I hold a degree in Social Communication from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. My deep passion for cinema and the performing arts has led me to further my education with specialized studies in acting direction, screenwriting, and cinematography in New York, Mexico, Canada, and Cuba. Over more than 15 years, I have built a strong trajectory in Latin American advertising filmmaking and content, supported by comprehensive training that includes executive production and assistant direction.

In 2010, I founded Chiquita Films in Colombia, where I directed the branded-content web series Adulto Contemporáneo. This project sparked a conversation around a rarely explored social niche, becoming a cultural phenomenon in my country. In 2014, I moved to Mexico after signing an exclusivity agreement with Rojo Films. My work and life in Mexico expanded my reach to other regions across the continent.

My work has been recognized at major advertising festivals and awards such as the New York Festival, El Ojo de Iberoamérica (where I was awarded New Talent in 2009), FIAP, P&M, El Dorado, and Effie.
Music videos I directed for artists such as J Balvin received multiple nominations at awards including Nuestra Tierra, Mi Gente TV, and HTV Music Video Awards (2013).

The screenplay for the feature film Tres Dos Uno Dos Tres was selected at BAM – Bogotá Audiovisual Market (2016). The NatGeo Kids show Opa Popa Dupa, which I directed, was nominated for the International Emmy Kids Awards and won the Produ Awards (2018). My short film Love Letter was shortlisted in the Cultural Impact category at Berlin Commercials (2024), and my short film Naturaleza Muerta is currently in its festival run and part of the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market.

In 2026, my documentary project Winechitecture, written and directed by me, was awarded the Mendoza Cash Rebate and is currently in development.

I divide my time among projects in Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and other international markets. I develop stories that reflect my multicultural vision, my expertise in various disciplines, and my connection to human emotions and conditions. Leveraging these tools, I aim to connect, entertain, and spark meaningful conversations through narratives that resonate beyond borders.

Nowdays, I work worldwide.
